Spin Gen Face Technology

Three spin elements combine on the face — a tighter groove pitch (more grooves), offset groove-in-groove for spin with an open face, and an aggressive face blast for bite on partial shots — for crisp, Tour-level spin.

Tour-Certified Shaping

The most Tour-tested, Tour-validated shapes in Callaway history — a higher toe peak, a radiused leading edge and easier hosel transitions make Opus the best-looking, best-performing wedge shape yet.

Grind Options To Fit Your Game

A complete lineup of sole grinds from narrow to wide — the popular S grind, forgiving W, versatile C and Tour-favorite T — so you can match your technique and turf.

Build Your Setup

Available from 48° to 60° across multiple bounces and grinds — pick each loft and sole to build the exact three- or four-wedge setup your short game needs.

Golf Shaft Fitting Guidelines
Shaft Flex · Driver Head Speed
LADIES Under 75 mphLIGHT 75–85 mphREGULAR 85–95 mphSTIFF 95–105 mphX-STIFF 105+ mph
Match your driver clubhead speed to the recommended shaft flex. ▸ Xander plays Tour X (TX) — a tour-level X-stiff for 105+ mph swing speeds. A proper fitting confirms flex, weight and launch.
Length & Lie Fitting Chart
Measure the player’s wrist-to-floor distance and note their height, then find the intersection in the chart for the recommended 7-iron starting length (relative to standard). Final length & lie is confirmed by player comfort and ball flight.
Length and Lie fitting chart: player height versus wrist-to-floor measurement
Static starting point only. Length & lie originate from iron fitting; a driver is typically fit separately by swing speed and control.
Shaft Tuning — Flex, Tempo & Weight
Dial in flex using both driver swing speed and backswing tempo (smooth vs. fast) — a faster tempo generally moves a player toward a stiffer flex at the same speed. The chart also maps recommended shaft weight ranges for graphite driver, graphite iron and steel iron shafts.
Shaft tuning chart: driver swing speed and backswing tempo mapped to flex, with recommended shaft weight ranges
Weights are recommended ranges in grams. Use alongside the shaft-flex and length & lie guides above; confirm all specs in a proper fitting.
Swingweight & Alterations Guide
How each component change shifts swingweight — length, lie angle, head weight, grip weight, tape wraps, shaft weight and shaft balance point. Callaway’s assembly goal is to hold standard swingweight for custom builds within ±0.5″ of standard length (tolerance ±1 swingweight point).
Swingweight alterations guide: effect of length, lie, head weight, grip weight, tape wraps, shaft weight and balance point
Reference only — swingweights can’t be guaranteed due to head-weight limitations and multiple component variables; confirm in assembly.
Grind Guide
The grind is the shaping of the sole — it controls how the wedge interacts with the turf. Pick the grind that matches your swing and typical course conditions.
